A PLACE FOR YOU 

John 14: 1- 3

Introduction: Some people takes long years with thousands and millions of money spent just to acquired their desired place. Even relatives brought divisions and file a case in a court just to win a property. Sometimes it takes lives and shedding of blood just to fight for the property they claimed their own. Many Christians looking and longing for a place where they can ease their daily life, and can consider as fulfillment of a long time dream house. They do anything just to reach the place of their ambition as like heaven. They sell everything, apply job, try immigration, married a foreigner they don't even love and some try even illegal way just to be in a place where they hope they can experienced prosperity, peace, daily provision. But the Lord teaches the disciples about a perfect place and a place prepared for every child of God.

I- RICH PLACE “In my Father’s house are many mansions”—v.2

a. House of God—“In my Father’s house” Revelations 21:3, 22-23; Revelations 22:1-5 

b. House of Gold—“are many mansions” Revelations 21:10-27, 18, 21

II- REAL PLACE “if it were not so, I would have told you”—v.2

a. Assured Us “I would have told you” John 14:6; John 14:3 “that where I am, there ye may be also”.

b. Awaits Us –II Corinthians 5:1-4, 6, 8

III- PREPARED PLACE “I go to prepare a place for you”—v.2

a. Prepared permanently “I go to prepare” II Peter 3:10, 12-13-Temporary earthly place. Philippians 3:20

b. Prepared personally “a place for you”

IV- PROMISED PLACE “I will come again, and receive you unto myself”—v.3

a. Promise to fetch us “I will come again,” I Thessalonians 4:14-16

b. Promise to make us in focus “I will come again” I Thessalonians 5:23; II Peter 3:11-12

c. Promise of forever be with us “and receive you unto myself” I Thessalonians 4:17-18

V- PERFECT PLACE “that where I am, there ye may be also”—v.3

a. Happiest place “that where I am” Revelations 21:3-4

b. Holiest place “I am” Psalm 20:6; Revelations 21:27; I Corinthians 15:50
