THEY HAD AN EMPTY CONFESSION.
A. The ABUNDANCE OF SINCERITY—v.21 “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord,”
B. The ATTITUDE OF SPIRITUALITY—v. 21 “shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;”
C. The ABSENCE OF SUBMISSION—v. 21 “but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.”
II. THE RIGHTEOUS PRACTICES—v. 22
THEY HAD AN EXCEPTIONAL CONDUCT.
A. EXTREMELY VOCAL –v. 22 “prophesied in thy name”
B. EMPHATICALLY VICTORIOUS –v. 22 “cast out devils”
C. EXCEEDINGLY VISIBLE –v. 22 “done many wonderful works”
