BIBLICAL MISSIONS
Lesson no.1
SERIES: Mission's Program of God
(Reaching a lost world with the Gospel of God)
NO
May 22, 2022
We want to know what is the desire of God for men, the program and purpose of God, and even the plan of God on yesterday, today and tomorrow. We want also to know what God is now doing in our world today.
We just want first to emphasize who will rule and control the world. Communism has their own program, plans, goals and objectives. The communists are ready and desire to control and conquer the whole world. The communists strongly eager that all men around the globe might join their system of communism. The communists human plan and purpose will not be successfully accomplished. They will not win the war, although they may win some battles. The communists will never control the world, but it is Christ who will ultimately control and rule the whole world, the Bible declares.
The Sovereign God also has His own program, plans and purpose that will be fulfilled for this dying, sinful world. That purpose is to make God known and that purpose will not fail. It is God desires that men and angels whom He created must know who God is and what God is like. We can see clearly in the book of Ezekiel in the Old Testament the divine purpose of God. In this book of the Old Testament, we found the phrase that is repeated 58 times which contains these words or sentence: “and ye shall know that I Am the LORD” or and they shall know that I Am the Lord.” You can find these words by reading repeatedly the book of Ezekiel especially chapters 6 through 39, and then may you write down all the verses where you found that phrase: __________________________________________________________________________________________________
God desires that all men around the world to know who God is.
God dried up the waters of the Jordan River, so the children of Israel could pass over into the land. And why? Find your answer in verse 24 of Joshua 4:23-24, “That all the people of the earth might _________ the hand of the _______, that it is mighty:”
Remember the battle between young David and giant Goliath. Find out what did God want all men everywhere to know. You can refer your answer in I Samuel 17:46 “that all the earth may know that there is a ______ in Israel.”  According to the spoken words of prayers of Solomon, what is the purpose of God for all the people of the earth? Look your answer in I Kings 8:43 “that all people of the ______ may _____ thy name, to _____ thee, as do thy people Israel;”
Find out the purpose of God stated in II Kings 19:19 “Now therefore, O Lord our God, I beseech thee, _______ thou us out of his hand, that _________________________ may _____ that thou art the _________, even thou ______.”
Indeed, God wants to make Himself known, so that all people of the earth might know that He is One and the Only TRUE GOD and SAVIOUR of the world!

KNOW THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD

The Biblical missions is spreading of the Word of God far and wide with a purpose that all people of the earth might know the One and Only True Living God. Who is this God that the people worldwide need to know? Many cults and false religious groups have considered their own God whom they worship as the true God. All of them proved their own God based from their own explanations and false human descriptions.

Four things that people in the world need to know about the One and Only True God:

1. THE TRUE GOD IS THE ONLY CREATOR
Please write down, what can we learn about the Lord in Nehemiah 9:6.   ___________________________________________________________________________________
People need to know who is really their Maker. Complete the statements in Psalm 100:3 “________ ye that the __________ He is ________: it is _______ that hath ________ us, and not we ourselves;”
There are many people in this world today who claims and blindly teach that there is no Creator. According to these false teachers, animals and plants were just evolved or gradually changed from one form to another form during millions and millions of years and they were not created. These speculators who hold this belief are called evolutionists. People need to know that the Lord Jesus Christ is the Great Creator of everything which people can see and touch. Could anything be made without Him? Write down the answer based on John 1:3 “All things were ________________; and without him was ____________________ made that was made.” Everything in this wonderful world did not come about by accident or evolvement or by mere change. The True and Living God, who is the intelligent Creator designed and made all things in this world.
2. THE TRUE GOD IS THE ONLY GOD
Everywhere in the world, people need to know that there is only One God. There are heathen people recorded in the Bible, who worshipped and served many gods. Open Joshua 24:14-16 “Now therefore fear the Lord, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the _______ which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the Lord. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the ________ which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. 16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the Lord, to serve _______ gods;” These “other gods” which they worship and serve are not really gods at all. Their gods described in Psalm 115:4-8 “Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they ___________: eyes have they, but they __________: They have ears, but they ________: noses have they, but they ___________: They have hands, but they __________: feet have they, but they __________: __________ they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trusteth in them.”
Can you imagine how people worship and serve god who can not see, can not hear, can not do anything, can not help needy people, cannot answer the prayers of men? Notice, that the idols were made by man’s hands and therefore their gods are nothing but _________(Psalm 115:4), not worthy of any worship and service of man. Those sculptures and artists who made and trusted on these idols are like unto these idols.
There is only One God: Answer the words in Deuteronomy 6:4 “The Lord our God is ______ Lord:”
Can a person find any other god if that person searches the whole universe and beyond? __________Find the answer in Isaiah 44:6 “Thus saith the Lord the King of Israel, and his redeemer the Lord of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.” Read and complete the verse in Isaiah 44:8 “Is there a God beside me? yea, there is _____  _______; I know not ________.” Question is: How much does God know? Does God know everything that there is to know? __________. Did you notice, that according to this verse, God says He does not know of any other god or gods beside Him. If anyone should know whether there is any other god, it is God himself. God should know!
Listen, think of this, if the Omniscience and True Living God, knows no any other god, then we are absolutely certain that there are no other gods. In case there were any other Gods, surely the True God would know about them. However, the True and LAll-knowing Living God knows nothing of any other god.
3. THE TRUE GOD IS THE ONLY TRUE GOD
There is only One True God, although there are many false gods. Complete the phrase in John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might _______ thee the _______   ________ God”.  There all other gods of different religious beliefs are phony, fake, imaginary and unreal. They are just mere idols. They are gods that have been made up only in the minds of men but do not really exist at all.
In the Bible, there is one unreal and phony god named “Baal.” When we read the true story of Elijah in I Kings
chapter 18, we learned that Elijah proved to those deceived Baal worshippers that the LORD of heaven was the real and Living God, and that god called “Baal” did not really exist at all. If we refer to I Kings 18:22-39, God called on the Only True God of Heaven, and He answered Elijah and demonstrates a mighty amazing miracle that shocked those witnesses that surrounds the contest and “Baal” did not answer for long hours of the day and did not do anything to prove if Baal is a real. Read and find out how did Elijah make fun of this false and phony god called “Baal”? I Kings 18:27 “that Elijah _____________ them, and said, Cry aloud: for he is a ________; either he is _________, or he is pursuing (occupied or gone aside - NASB), or he is in a journey, or peradventure he _____________, and must be awaked.” Give the important conclusion did the Baal worshipper said in I Kings 18:39 “And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The _________, he is the _________; the _________, he is the _________.”
4. THE TRUE GOD IS THE ONLY SAVIOUR
Apart from the LORD, is there any other Saviour? (Isaiah 45:21) _______. So, the unsaved, hopeless sinners have to look only to one place if they want to be saved. Read Isaiah 45:22 “Look unto ______, and be ye _______,” No one else can save sinners, for there is no other Saviour. Apart from the Saviour there is no hope. There is hope for anyone who come to Jesus Christ, the only Saviour of all sinners. God wants everyone, everywhere in the world that Jesus can save (Hebrews 7:25 “He is able also to ______ them to the uttermost that ______ unto God”). Jesus Christ is the only One who can save (Acts 4:12 “Neither is there ______________ in any other … whereby we must be ________.”).

KNOW THOSE WHO ARE SENT BY GOD

We can not find the word “Missions” or “Mission” and “Missionary” in the Bible. These words that are not found in the Bible are good words and we need to understand what these words mean. The word “Missions” comes from a Latin word “mitto” which means “I send.” As we previously studied, the purpose of God is to make Himself known to all the people of the earth, and God sends certain people on a mission in order to achieve this purpose of God. Those people that God sends are often called missionaries. The word “missionaries” means “sent ones.” The role of Missionaries that are sent by God is to be the messengers of God, to be the witnesses of God and to be the spokesmen of God.
In spite the word “Missions” or “Missionary” is not used in the Bible, the Bible on the other hand have much to say about God sending people into the world. Complete the verse as you read the example of the God the Father sent His Son Jesus Christ and the evangelism of the Believers sent by Jesus Christ in John 17:18 “As Thou (God the Father) hast ______________ Me (Jesus Christ) into the world, even so have I (Jesus Christ) also ___________ them (His believers) into the world"; Again, listen to Jesus in John 20:21 “Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you; as my ___________ hath __________ me, even so _________ I ________.”

Jesus was sent into the world on a mission field, with a heart of missions as first missionary from heaven. God the Father gave an assignment to His Son Jesus Christ, and this assignment was carried out by Christ perfectly according the Lord Jesus in John 17:4 “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have __________the work which thou gavest me to do.”. The same way as the Father sent His Son, Jesus Christ has sent His believers into the world on a mission. Every Christian is a missionary because each of them have a mission to let the people all over the world know God. Now, what is the mission and the assignment which our Saviour Jesus Christ has given to us as His believers:

  1. Where God has sent us to go? Mark 16:15  "Go ye into all the __________, and preach the gospel to every creature."
  2. As God has sent us what kind of message, we have with us that God has given us? 1 Thessalonians 2:4 "But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the _______________ (the good news)."
  3. Whom God wants this message of the gospel to go? as Jesus said in Mark 16:15 “Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every _______________” (every person).
Now, it is clearly seen that our mission involves sending. We also learned that as the Father send His Son Jesus Christ into the world, in the same way, Jesus Christ has sent His
believers into the world.
The Believers assignment involves three other things:
     1. THE SHINING OF THE BELIEVERS INTO THE WORLD
The Believers shining is needed in this world
Christ has sent us according to John 17:18 “into the ___________.”
How would you describe this world? Is this kind of world where we can see all people loves and worships God? Is it the type of world where all the people are kind with one another, loving one another, no hate with each other, no cruelty found, a place where you cannot find any problems with one another?
Christ has sent His believers into this hopeless, miserable, sinful, blinded world. We are the lights of the world and God wants lights to be shining brightly in the midst of the darkness, Philippians 2:15 “That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye ________ as ___________ in the world;” The Lord Jesus commanded His followers in Matthew 5:16 “Let your ________so ________ before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Christ claimed in John 8:12 “I am the __________ of the world:” And the followers or the believers of Christ shall not walk in darkness but are to be as little lights in the world that point lost souls to Jesus Christ who is the Greatest light of all in the world.  The Believers assignment is SHINING into the world.
     2. THE SHOWING OF THE BELIEVERS INTO THE WORLD
God had given all genuine Believers of something that the unsaved lost people do not have, John 5:12 “He that hath the _________ hath ___________”. All born-again Christians, the Believers of Christ have the free wonderful gift of Eternal life, and the purpose of God and will of God for them is that they may show forth this free gift of Eternal life to those unsaved lost people around them who are spiritual dead. Like the drunk person that shows the way he walks and talks and acts, the believers also ought to show the people in the world the way he walks and talks and acts as a disciple of Christ being filled or controlled by the Spirit according to Ephesians 5:18 “And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;”. Those who claimed they are Christians, who know the Lord ought to live and act differently than those who are unsaved lost people who do not know the Lord as their Saviour.
The Believers in Christ need to show the world the difference of those saved who know the Lord from those unsaved who do not yet know the Lord. The Believers assignment is SHOWING into the world. In what ways can and should the believers of Christ be different?
     3. THE SAYING OF THE BELIEVERS INTO THE WORLD
Not only the Believers need to shine their light into the dark world, to show the difference of their lives, but also to say something to the world.
We can find a group of believers have that courage to tell the world as witnesses, who could not keep silent in Acts 4:20 “For we cannot but __________the things which we have seen and heard.” They are not afraid to proclaim something to the world because they had a message of good news. What do you suppose if the team of doctors discovered about cure for cancer, should the doctors remain silent and keep the cure solution as a big secret or should the doctors speak up and tell the public of the good news regarding the cure he discovered? Listen, Christians have the message of good news which is the power of God to save people from eternal death or eternal separation from God. This good news (gospel – death, burial, and resurrection of Christ – I Corinthians 15:1-4), is to be proclaim and spread to all the people of the earth, that is the worldwide missions.
Let us have a situational case when one night a man walking down a street and he saw a burning house. All the neighbors in that street are sleeping and not aware of the dangerous destruction. Should that man say a word of warning and tell anyone about the home that is on fire? Should that man just walk away and ignore everything or should that man run into a resident’s house and call the emergency hotline 911 national office?
What great tragedy will occur if that person does not warn these people of dangers which they are in. As a Christians, are we doing our responsibility of warning those spiritually blind people of the dark world who are unaware of the danger they are in.? Did John the Baptist without fear say words of warning to people? Let us find out what kind of fire John the Baptist warn these people about in Matthew 3:7, 12 “But when he saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with __________________ fire.” Read what Jesus said of the fire in Mark 9:43-48 “And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the _______ that never shall be ______________: 44 Where their worm dieth not, and the __________ is not ___________. 45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into _________, into the _________ that never shall be ____________: 46 Where their worm dieth not, and the ___________ is not ___________. 47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into ___________ fire: 48 Where their worm dieth not, and the ________ is not __________.”
God has trusted unto us powerful message of good news to tell all people of the earth. The good news is the gospel. God has the message of hope, the good news for hopeless and helpless unsaved sinners. What is the good news or the gospel that people need to hear and believe? Know what people need to hear in I Corinthians 15:3-4 “For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ __________________ according to the scriptures; And that he was ___________, and that he _____________ the third day according to the scriptures:”
Then know what people need to believe in John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever _____________ in him should not ____________, but have _______________ life.” ; Romans 10:9 “_________ in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”; Romans 1:16 "For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that _______________".
Another world that is closely related to the word gospel is the word evangelist. An evangelist is a person who proclaims the gospel of Christ and preaches the good news to all lost. The evangelist brings the gospel message to those people who need to hear the message of the gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation. The word “evangelize” means to preach the gospel, to proclaim the good news that Christ died for our sins, buried and after three days had risen from the dead. There is no “full gospel” because there is no half gospel. There is only one true gospel, in Romans 1:16 the _____________ of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth”.
May I ask you personally. Do you already believed the message of the gospel, the good news about what Christ has done for you? Is this good news need to be heard by other people? Did you ever evangelized anyone or preached to them the gospel of Christ? If you are a true believer and you have good news to tell others like telling someone concerning the cure for cancer and not to keep it secret, then why don’t you tell others about a cure for the greatest disease of all, SIN. Tell someone of the remedy, the good news of salvation of soul, that is by grace through faith on the finished redemptive work of Christ.
We ourselves are evangelized and we need to let the good news or the truth of the gospel excite and thrill our own heart. The more we appreciate the unconditional love and the sacrificial work of Jesus Christ and for His precious blood shed for the redemption of our soul, the more effectively we will be eager and bold to tell others about the good news. We surely have the mind of the Psalmist when he said “The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.” (Psalm 126:3).

KNOW THOSE WHO ARE INVOLVED IN MISSIONS PROGRAM

1) GOD IS INVOLVED – THE VERY CENTER OF MISSION'S PROGRAM
God is the One who desires that all the people might know Him. The One who saves and the One who sends is God. God is the sender, the Savior and the Sealer. Missions is the heart of God. Missions is the program of God, and the very center of missions is God.
2) ANGELS ARE INVOLVED – INTERESTED WITH WHAT IS TAKING PLACE ON EARTH
Both good and bad angels are so much interested in what is happening on the people of the earth. The angels are so much interested on whatever the response of all people on the gospel invitation, whether they were reject or believe the good news that were given to them. Read Luke 15:7,10 and give the way the good angels are involved with what happens on earth by completing the verses?
Luke 15:7, 10 “I say unto you, that likewise ________ shall be in ___________ over one sinner that ______________, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. 10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is _______ in the presence of the ___________ of God over one sinner that _____________.”
The devil, Lucifer and his 1/3 followers fallen angels are also very much interested. The devil opposes the mission’s program of God.
God desires to make Himself known by all the people of the earth, but the devil does not want that to happen. Satan wants all people in this dark blinded world as much as possible to remain unsaved, unchanged and unenlightened of the truth. Now let us look at Luke 8:12 and II Corinthians 4:3-4, then write the answer on how the devil and his fallen angels are involved with happens on earth:
Luke 8:12 “Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and ________ away the ___________ out of their hearts, lest they should ____________ and be ___________.”
II Corinthians 4:3-4 “But if our gospel be hid, it is __________ to them that are _________: In whom the ________ of this world hath ____________ the minds of them which __________   ________, lest the _________ of the glorious ___________ of Christ, who is the image of God, should ____________ unto them.”

3) ALL MANKIND IS INVOLVED – THE IMPORTANT PART IN MISSION'S PROGRAM
We previously discussed the believer’s important part in God’s program of missions. The believers as God’s sent ones, they need to be shining and not walk in darkness but are to be as lights in the world to point lost souls to Jesus Christ who is the greatest light. The believers need to be showing in the world the difference of those saved from those who are unsaved. The believers also need to be saying something in the world, proclaiming the good news to other people worldwide.
Being a part in the wonderful mission’s program of God is a privilege and great opportunity for the Believers. Not only it is the joy of the believers to know Christ but also it is their joy to make Christ known to all the people in the world.
Every believer ought to be a missionary to make God known and every unsaved person is a mission field, a person who needs to know God. Therefore, each person is either a missionary or a mission field. All mankind is involved for they all have important part in missions’ program of God.
4) THE AREA THAT IS INVOLVED – THE PLACE WHERE GOD IS DOING HIS MISSIONS
Where is the place that God is doing His missions work? Is God only working His missions in the nation of Israel? Is God only working His mission’s program in the Philippines or in just particular country? In what place or area is God involved? God reaches to area where He was so concern, to know the place, answer the blank space by completing the phrase in Isaiah 45:22 “Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the __________ of the _________: for I am God, and there is none else.” According to the Lord Jesus Christ, where is the area that Good news need to reach and go?
Mark 16:15 “And he said unto them, Go ye into all the ____________, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Before Jesus ascended into heaven he told the disciples that Christ witnesses are to reach what place? Acts 1:8But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the ____________ part of the ____________.” Even in the Old Testament, believers knew that God is so concerned to reach out people of where? Psalms 67:1-2 “God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all ________.”
God is involved, and God is involved everywhere. Is God involved with you right now? Are you reached by the gospel or are you reaching out to others with the gospel?

KNOW BEHIND AND AHEAD THE NEED OF MISSIONS PROGRAM

1) BEFORE CREATION – NO NEED FOR MISSION'S PROGRAM OF GOD
God existed before the foundation of the world. God exists before anything that was ever made. Jesus Christ had an intimate and wonderful relationship with His Father, find out as Jesus praying to His Father in John 17:5, 24 “And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the ____________ was. 24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the __________________ of the ___________.” However, there was no need for God’s missions’ program at that time. Obviously, there were no creatures to whom God needed to make Himself known. God has no desires yet to make Himself known because there were no people on the earth at that time.
2) AFTER ANGELS WERE CREATED – NO NEED FOR MISSION'S PROGRAM OF GOD
God created the angels first before He ever created man. Then after the creation of angels, all of the angels knew God, and they knew who God was, so there was no need for God’s program of missions during that time. Angels were all in the light and they were not in the dark about who God was. They knew God was their Powerful creator, Sovereign and Almighty and Eternal. There was no need for missions’ program of God at this time.
Let us learn about the demons of today. To know if the demons which composed of bad angels or the fallen angels know who God is, read and fill up the blank space of the following verses in Mark 5:7 “And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee, ___________, thou ________ of the most high __________? I adjure thee by God, that thou torment me not.”; James 2:19 “Thou believest that there is one ______; thou doest well: the devils also ____________, and tremble.” Although the devil is the enemy of God, but Satan who was a created angel is not ignorant about God His Creator. Therefore, angels do not need missionaries to be sent to them, for they know well who God is.
3) DURING THE OLD TESTAMENT PERIOD – ISRAEL WAS TO BE GOD'S WITNESSES
Israel as God’s chosen nation was meant to be as what?  Read Isaiah 43:10 “Ye are my _______________, saith the Lord, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.” The Israelites were to bear testimony to all the people of the earth, and tell the entire world that there was one true God. Most of the time, the Jews fell into sin, disobedience and idol worship, they were sticked neck and hardheaded people, so they failed to be a clear witness for God, because they did not faithfully point to God as clearly as they should have as God intended them to be.
4) TODAY'S WORLD – THERE IS A GREAT NEED FOR MISSION'S PROGRAM OF GOD
There is a great ignorance in today’s world where we live about who God is and what God has done to the sins of all the people in the world. Many people were ignorant of the sufficiency and power of the gospel of Christ for salvation to those who believe. Look the ignorance of people in I Thessalonians 4:5 “Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which _________  _______ God:” People of today’s world are in great darkness, they need to understand the knowledge about God, that is why they need to see the light and know God and the Saviour. Find out and put the missing words of some verses that explain how important is the light to people in the world that are ignorant about God, in Isaiah 9:2 “The people that walked in _____________ have seen a great __________: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light ____________.”; II Corinthians 4:4, 6 “In whom the ________ of this world hath ____________ the minds of them which ____________ not, lest the ___________ of the glorious _____________ of Christ, who is the image of God, should ___________ unto them. For God, who commanded the light to shine out of _________________, hath shined in our ____________, to give the light of the ______________ of the ___________ of God in the face of Jesus Christ.” We must have the great burden and concern of the great need for God’s program of missions of today’s world.
5) DURING CHRIST'S KINGDOM ON EARTH – NO NEED FOR MISSIONARIES OF GOD
Are those people in the established kingdom will still need to know God during the time of the earthly reign of Christ? Know the answer by completing the verse in Isaiah 11:9 “They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be _________ of the ________________ of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” Is it necessary for people who are in the earthly kingdom of Christ to tell their friends, neighbors, relatives to know the Lord Jesus as their Saviour or will these people whom they acquainted already know the Lord? Read and know the answer by filling the blank in Jeremiah 31:34 “And they shall ___________ no more every man his _____________, and every man his _______________, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all __________ me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. “
After the first phase of Christ second coming called the rapture, then tribulation, then Armageddon then comes the second phase of Christ second coming, the bodily return of Christ, called the thousand-year millennial reign of Christ in His earthly kingdom. During the earthly Kingdom of Jesus Christ, He will rule as King of all the earth, the Jewish Messiah, and the Saviour of all those who believe around the world, and Christ will make Himself known in a very special way. Therefore, there will be no need for missionaries during that Kingdom age.
6) AT THE ETERNAL STATE – NOT NECESSARY TO PREACH THE GOSPEL
In God’s program, there will be the new heaven and earth, that is after the thousand-year kingdom of Christ on this earth, according to Revelation 21:1 “And I saw a new ____________ and a new ___________: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.” People has two eternal destinations either they will be spending eternity with the Lord or they will be spending eternity, where? Find out in Revelation 21:8 “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.” Will it be necessary to preach the gospel either in heaven or in hell? _________ . All the eternal destinies of man either in heaven or in hell will be settled permanently and fixed at that time, there will be no transferring or changing of eternal destiny. Look at Revelation 22:11 “He that is unjust, let him be unjust still: and he which is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is righteous, let him be righteous still: and he that is holy, let him be holy still.”
In this life, all people of the earth were given by God an ample or sufficient opportunities to know God, but in the next life it will be too late. Today is the day of salvation. During the eternal state of man, there will be no other opportunities for a second chance, but people in this life, still have chance to hear the gospel and be saved from eternal suffering in hell, but no person in hell will ever hear the gospel. There are no sent missionaries in hell because it is not necessary to preach the gospel in hell for those who will be spending eternity in that eternal torment. It will be impossible for anyone to be saved out of hell. Today not tomorrow, now not later is the time for salvation.
See in II Corinthians 6:2 “(For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted ________; behold, ________ is the day of ________________.)”
