The expression used “desperately wicked” in Greek “wə·’ā·nuš” means “incurably sick” or beyond cure.

John 10:11 “I am the _________ _________: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.” (Jesus is the Shepherd)

Now, based on I Peter 2:25, who is the Shepherd and Bishop of our souls? (The words “Bishop” means somebody who watches over us and looks out for us, to protects us not to fall into danger. In other word, Bishop is an Overseer).
III – Because all men are dead. Read all the following passages then answer all the questions given:
1. GENESIS 2:17 “But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”
If Adam eats the forbidden fruit, what would happen to Adam according to the words of God? __________
When will the result of disobedience of Adam would occur? ___________________________________________.
Did Adam die physically on that day he ate the fruit? _______ (To know the answer please refer to Genesis 5:3-5).
Genesis 5:3-5 “And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and begat a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: 4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begat sons and daughters: 5 And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.”
Because of above verses, can you tell now if God speaking primarily in Genesis 2:17 about physical death? _____.
Read Genesis 2:25 and Genesis 3:6-7, then answer some questions.
Genesis 2:25 “And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.”
Genesis 3:6-7 “And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.”
After Adam and Eve sinned, is there a change that had taken place? ___________
Because of Adam’s sin, was physical death become part of the curse that was placed upon man? _______ (To know the answer, please refer to Genesis 3:19).
2. EPHESIANS 2:1 “And you hath he quickened, who were ___________ in _______________ and ________;” (Before we were saved who we were? Complete the missing words to know the answer) (Also read Ephesians 2:5; Colossians 2:13)
Ephesians 2:5 “Even when we were _______ in sins, hath __________ us together with _______, (by grace ye are saved;)”
Colossians 2:13 “And you, being _________ in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he ______________ together with him, having ______________ you all trespasses;”
3. JOHN 5:24 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from ___________ unto __________.” (The moment a person is saved, he passes from (out of) what? unto (into) what? (To know the answer, please complete the missing words) (Also read I John 3:14)
I John 3:14 “We know that we have passed from __________ unto __________, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.”
So, a person is in a state of what, before he is saved? ____________.
Find out what does a person have, the moment he believes on the Lord Jesus Christ? _______________ (To know the answer please read John 6:47 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”) So, based on this verse, the unsaved man is dead spiritually because that person does not have ____________________. Now, read Ephesians 4:17-18, and know from what the unsaved man is alienated from or separated from?
Ephesians 4:17-18 “This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from _____ ________ _____ ________ through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart:” We therefore conclude, that the person mentioned in Ephesians 2:1 is someone who does not have God’s life. The moment a person is saved he is quickened according to Ephesians 2:5 “Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;).” The word quickened means a person is “made alive.”

I John 5:12 “He that hath the _______ hath _______; and he that ______ ______ the Son of God ______ not life.” (This verse shows us that the person who does not have the Son of God does not have life). Therefore, if a person does not have life, then he is dead and the person who does not have the Son of God is dead spiritually. To know what really eternal life is, let us read about Jesus’ prayers to His Father in John 17:3 and complete the missing words.
John 17:3 “And this is life eternal, that they might know _________ the only true God, and _________ _________, whom thou hast sent.” Therefore, according to this verse, the person who does not know the Father and does not know the Son personally does not have ___________________. So, the point is, the person who does not know God is _____________.
4. JOHN 3:14-16; JOHN 5:24; JOHN 6:47
According to these passages, know what must dead men and dead women need to do in order to have life? Read and fill up the missing words in each verse.
